For this construction pit in Seevetal, Germany, Meever USA’s engineers designed a smart solution for safe excavation with our patented mechanical modular Bracing System. This system, with several layers of braces and struts, is perfect for withstanding the forces in the construction pit.
For the top brace, the force is slightly lower in comparison with the bottom one, so we used the B300 series in combination with the S1000 struts. This combination was not only effective, but also kept the structure nice and light.
Secondly, the lower brace needed to handle higher forces than the upper one, so we made a preliminary design using the B400 series and S2000 struts. This combination produced a strong brace that met the requirements of the construction pit perfectly.
